Well the birthday party went well this weekend! Kale had a great time and got to see most of the family, I say most because Erin's dad was unable to make it due to having a severe case of the flu!
Kale opened a few presents, he was more interested in playing with the toys 
once they were opened, than putting them down to open 
something new! He received lots of new clothes, a few new books, some new cars, a very nice blanket (handmade by Grandma Dreiling), some new pj's, and other small items. Erin and I got him an electric car which he loved. He has been riding it around the living room and some outside when it is nice! 
He playing in the frosting of the cake, but never once tried to eat it! Which is fine with me, makes monitoring the diet much easier!
